Jessica began her entrepreneurial career with LPL Financial in 2011, after 6 years with a regional bank and gaining perspective from peers and various teams, ultimately founding Tretter Financial Planning. She is a CFP® practitioner and teaches the CFP education program through Kaplan and the College for Financial Planning at Bellarmine University, often mentoring students and CFP candidates long after the end of their coursework. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Personal Financial Planning and prioritizes continuing education and research to remain abreast of the latest planning concepts, economic challenges, and federal tax implications.

Jessica has been widely recognized for her personal character, work ethic, and philanthropic efforts. A few notable recognitions include the Lisa Murrel Award recipient voted by her fellow Leadership Kentucky classmates (2017) and LYPA Rising Star recipient (2013). She has been instrumental to numerous non-profit organizations and fundraising events over the years. As a small firm, our reach may be modest, but our commitment is unwavering.

As a single adoptive parent, Jessica understands that family values are often the driving force behind financial security and believes that our values guide our choices, philanthropy, and every day business practices.
